We are looking for advice on house sitting or possible house sitting opportunities.
We are a professional couple (I am a photographer and my partner a social worker) currently traveling through Europe with our three year old daughter and are looking to find a property in France to look after over winter, possibly from November to March-April or longer if required. Does anyone know of agencies that deal with this (I have posted on housecarers.com and a few others) or should anyone have a holiday home they would like looking after and looking after well? We can provide references and are available for interviews.
Many thanks
Jenny and Hugh

Not sure of agencies but this site and Fusac (also available Online) have a number of Wanteds and Exchanges.
A good bet might be writing to the HR departments of 2 main UN agencies in Paris (OECD and UNESCO) or the ESA (European Space Agency) along with the many Consulates and Embassies as their staff are so mobile they might welcome a house sitter if the "Moving season" has passed and their private property has not been let.
There are so many and as you didn't mention your nationality (suspect UK) - I cannot give you an address. Commonwealth countries is a start.
