  I brought along the 2 papers they gave me at the consulate in Los Angeles and told me to bring with me to the mairie, and I've got the visa in my passport... but I'm trying to find out what else I need to bring in to get my residency permit. I landed in Paris yesterday, and I guess the visa in my passport is good for 2 months, during which time I need to set up the residency permit. I have to go back home for a few weeks in June though so really I only have one month. I am also looking for a permanent place to stay this month as well. I am subletting from a friend at the moment.
  Can someone tell me what I need to do? And does anyone out there have a pet-friendly apartment for rent, while I'm asking? :-D

  Hi, I don' t have an apartment for you, or any advice- so my apologies!! But I am also relocating from LA to Paris, so just wanted to ask if you don't mind- has it been difficult so far? Sorry my question is off-topic, but would love to hear your thoughts!

             I would like to suggest you that,you should take advice from visa and immigration experts,who have good knowledge of American and French immigration law.They will solve your problem immediately.
