please recommend a good place for chips. i go to Antwerpen all the time for the pubs and food too, just haven't found a non touristy vlaamse friets place within the centre.

I've yet to find any better than Frietkot Max in the Groenplaats. On the tourist trail, but very good. Whenever I'm staying in Antwerpen, I book into my hotel, unpack and head straight there for a treat.
