  I'm a French speaking Belgian mum, but I've been raising my 3 year old son in English since birth.
  Thought he understands quite well, he doesn't make the effort to answer me in English. So I searching for an activity or a playgroup during weekends where he could meet & play with English speaking little ones. I'm sure it would boost his confidence.
  Ideally near Charleroi, Nivelles, or Waterloo, and surrounding areas...
  
  Does anyone have an idee?

  It's a great, very welcoming, organisation for young families in Belgium with children. Membership is extremely international, but the common language is English. The BCT organises a number of activities, weekends included. Also, there are local chapters with regular actvities. If nothing else, you will meet many other English-speaking or international parents with whom you can set up your own playgroups.

  Hello - what is probably true is that there not much in English close to where you live. There are organizations like http://www.turtlewings.be/ that offer activities, but they are in Ixelles and you have to pay for these activities. The Montessorie schools in your area may also be a good source of information as they run sessions. Other than that, you may have to locate other people in your area with children of a similar age who will play in English. Some of the international schools as host activities and by checking the school section of the Expatica site you will find St Johns, BEPS, the World International school and possibly a few others.
