  Hello everyone,
  
  I do have a strange request.
  
  I have a friend called Phil Harper, who I got to know following Manchester City FC ( I know ) and we met for games and chatted on various messageboards. Phil lives in Antwerp and works for a logistics company there.
  
  Unfortunately, Phil became very ill in November and was admitted to hospital, but was allowed out for Christmas, and went back in for further treatment in January.
  
  Myself and other friends are getting concerned about his well being as there has been no contact at all via Internet, text or telephone.
  
  Please, if you know Phil and can get a message to him, or could point me in the right direction to try and find out via hospitals how he is I would be extremely grateful

  hmm....Strange request indeed! Kinda like asking if anyone in London knows a Joe Smith who works in IT. Your profile says you are from the UK but are currently living in 'Haiti'. Your post is from an IP address in New York City. What are we supposed to believe here "Wayne" ??
  
  You can do the search legwork at http://www.infobel.com/en/belgium if your friend is in fact living in Antwerp.

  Kind of a mess, I agree. I am a UN official, ex-British Army, serving in Haiti, and the UN server either uses New York HQ or Brindisi in southern Italy.
  
  But thanks for the info, and I've another 10 numbers of hosptitals in belgium to call
  
  I tried the LOCATE thing at the Embassy but he hadn't registered as an expat. Keep looking
