  Hi,
  I would like to understand the implications and process of the following situation for a friend.
  
  Currently working in Belgium but would like to move to NL (have European passport)
  Would be commuting on monday and back on Thursday in NL.
  
  Questions are:
  How does tax situation work?
  Where does one have to go for such registration in NL and Belgium
  what are the implications of social security and insurance (health) payments in Belgium and NL
  Does one get adversely affected on tax aspect
  
  Grateful for some guidance on the above.

  I hear that Belgium discriminates against non-resident taxpayers whose income is entirely or almost entirely earned in Belgium. However, it is comforting to know that the issue is currently being dealt with by the Commission. (http://trimf-legal.com/news_belgium-tax-discrimination_en.html)
