  Hi,
  
  I have recently moved to teh Netherlands from Ireland. I am looking at buying a car in Germany. Is there anyway that I can arrange so that I do not have to pay any orf the import taxes.
  If I was to buy the car in the UK - Is there anyway that I can get out of paying the taxes - BPM etc.

  I'm about to move to Netherlands aswell. I'm also interested on importing a cheap German car to Netherlands.

  So you have to calculate the BPM based on the information given on those pages.
  
  The only way you can avoid paying BPM (AFAIK!) is to live in Germany for one year and have the car there for over 6months.
  
  If anybody has some additional information regarding car importing from Germany, please let us know
