  Hello again,
  
  I hope you had a nice run out today. I thought about joining you but it would have meant a long day in the saddle and an early morning Sunday, but maybe next time...

  For ref; Bruinisse was the town I got us lost in the 1st time, with the cat & duck laughing at me… Little town with Church surrounded by canal was Noordgouwe… Chinese restaurant was at Brouwershaven… Goat track with old dude on electric cart was Jonkvrouw Annadijk between F & G… Bumpy **** corner was just before H… Where we stopped for lunch, and that last nice road are between J & K.

  Thanks for navigating again. Next time it'll have to be down to the Ardennes/Eifel region for some proper roads.

  Sorry guys, KPN came today to pull cables for a neighbouring company through our service duct, and in doing so they somehow managed to flick some critical fuses in the meter cupboard which served the power to the server room, turning the airco off, this in turn has crashed the harddrives which held, among a great deal of other stuff, the expatbikers.nl site. Cack handed IDIOTS.
  
  I am hoping that it can be restored from backups, but it may be a while before its back and running fully. It might not be quite the same as it was, but I will rebuild it from scratch if necessary.
  
  Apologies on behalf of the utter monkeys that are KPN engineers, as you can imagine I am pretty p*&^ed off...I hope that some of you see this, and I hope it doesn't put you off coming back what was just beginning to take shape.
  
  I'll post here again once its back.
  
  [edit] The php files have been recovered, but I still can't get to the server, I hope it won't be long till we're back to normality...
  
  [edit] All back to normal now, some lessons learnt!

  No need to be sorry Jim, you can't be help what KPN muppets do, not to mention the fact that it's you who suffers the most from their incompetence as you're one one who has to fix it all. Appreciate your efforts mate, I owe you a beer when we finally meet

  Sort of makes me think of the advertisement that they have on TV at the moment about technical difficulities and the question is "when wil the Dutch guy start"? Wel we have our answer
