  Hello everyone,

    I'm a political asylum seeker from Nepal and my procedure is still going on. The thing which i want to know is quite different but still it's releated to this(i think).

  Actually i've a girlfriend from france who is working in holland since few years and we are planning to get married in holland and stay here.So for getting married what are the required documents ? The thing that has saddened me is "i dont have passport of my country and also i cant go there due to political reasons for it".Only i have is my birth-certificate and unmarried certificate.

  So i want to know is it impossible to carry on this procedure without the passport of mine  or it works without having it? Every suggestions are warm welcome.anyone,Please help me !!!   Thank you in advance..

  Just a quick question, and one you've obviously checked, but isn't the Nepalese Consulate required to issue one to you, if you have 'lost' your last one?
  
  I'm asking this because I am an expat and I can order and receive a new passport by post (it's expensive! but I never have to deal with any officials face-to-face) - but I do understand different nationalities have different requirements for handling lost passports.

  Thank you so much Osita for your kind response. Let me explain my situation.

  I said earlier that i'm a political asylum seeker and for security reasons i accidently came in netherlands without my passport(coz i dint have my passport and there wasnt condition to made after being victim).

  I'm not a lawyer and I wish I could give you advice but I cannot. I do wish you both the very best of luck and a happy marriage when it happens. I hope you will both find a way.
  
  Should no lawyer reply, please do an internet search for 'juridisch loket' (like www.hetjl.nl) as the purpose of these are to give free legal advice to people in the Netherlands. They are not lawyers, but maybe they could give you suggestions that you haven't considered.
