My naturalization is just approved. I am going to attend ceremony. However, for some reason I still need to keep the passport of my own country.
Therefore, to be able to re-enter Netherlands I need to keep my dutch resident permit.

Yes u can keep ur old passport till u get ur dutch passport.
Once u done with ur oath taking ceremony, u can apply for dutch passort in week time not before. When u apply for dutch passport in gameente they will take ur dutch resident card and destroy it. So u have to wait 1 week for ur new passport. you can not travel for one week.
but there is a catch
there is huge rush for new passport in gammente due to recent changes in law( not related to you). So u have to confirm how much time they will take

It takes one week to get the new Dutch passport after applying for it. You must hand over your old residence permit at gemeente at the time of collecting your new dutch passport. However, you are given 3 months within which you have to collect that new passport and hand over your exising/old residence permit.
Once you become Dutch after attending naturalization ceremony, you receive a letter from IND that you must renounce/give-up your other nationalities within 3 months and send the proof to IND that you have applied for their renunciation. So, you have to hand over your other county's passport(s) within 3 months time.
You will get the proof of giving up your old nationality from that country's embassy in NL, and that will be a letter/form which you will have to send to IND.
When you apply for the dutch passport, you get a piece of paper from gemeente which states that you have applied for the dutch passport and then later you have to bring that letter to gemeente in order to receive the new passport.
When you travel with your residence permit (which i think becomes invalid upon your becoming dutch citizen in the naturalization ceremony), you should keep with you the proof of applying for the passport which you got from gemeente at the time of applying for the dutch passport. I am not sure but that proof might save you when you are questioned by immigration police.

U krijgt deze brief omdat u onlangs Nederlander bent geworden. Lees deze brief goed. De volgende punten zijn belangrijk:
Afstand doen van uwoorspronkelijke nationaliteit(en)
U hebt de Nederlandse nationaliteit gekregen op voorwaarde dat u afstand doet van uw oorspronkelijke nationaliteit. U hebt met deze voorwaarde ingestemd bij de indiening van uw verzoek om naturalisatie of optieverzoek, door een verklaring te ondertekenen waarin u zich bereid hebt verklaard tot het do en van afstand. Als u niet al het mogelijke doet om uw oorspronkelijke nationaliteit te verliezen, kan dit leiden tot intrekking van uw Nederlandse nationaliteit (artikel 15lid 1 onder d of f van de Rijkswet op het Nederlanderschap).
Indien u meer dan een nationaliteit hebt, dan moet u voor elke nationaliteit afzonderlijk afstand do en.
Wat moet u doen?
U moet binnen 3 maanden na de datum van deze brief bewijzen dat u actie hebt
ondernomen om afstand te doen van uw oorspronkelijke nationaliteit. U bewijst dat door het opsturen van:
a) Verzoek om afstand
Dit is een verklaring waaruit blijkt dat u een verzoek om afstand hebt ingediend bij de bevoegde autoriteiten en dat dit verzoek in behandeling is genomen, met daarbij, als het mogelijk is, vermeld hoe lang de procedure naar verwachting zal gaan duren.
Als u een verzoek om afstand hebt ingediend, krijgt u voor de duur van de behandeling van uw verzoek uitstel voor het over leggen van het bewijs van afstand. U maakt een kopie van deze verklaring en stuurt de kopie vervolgens op naar bovenstaand postadres met vermelding van uw naam en dossiernurnrner.

b) Afstandsverklaring
Dit is een (zo nodig) gelegaliseerde verklaring waaruit blijkt dat u daadwerkelijk uw
oorspronkelijke nationaliteit hebt verloren door het doen van afstand. Na het overleggen van deze afstandsverklaring is uw naturalisatie- of optieprocedure afgerond en wordt uw dossier gesloten.
Als u denkt dat u in het bezit bent van een (zo nodi g) gelegaliseerde afstandsverklaring, dan moet u hiervan een kopie maken. Vervolgens stuurt u de kopie op naar bovenstaand postadres. Vermeld op de kopie uw naam, vreemdelingennummer, dossiernummer, huidig adres en telefoonnummer. Een IND-medewerker zal dan contact met u opnemen om met u te bespreken of u inderdaad het juiste document hebt en of het aan alle eisen voldoet.
Ook zal de medewerker u uitleggen wat u verder moet doen. Als blijkt dat u het juiste document hebt, dan wordt met u een afspraak gemaakt om naar een IND-loket te komen om het originele document te laten zien. Een medewerker neemt hiervoor telefonisch contact met u op. Het originele document neemt u vervolgens weer mee naar huis.
Stuur geen originele documenten, zoals officiele afstandsverklaringen, per post naar de IND. Als u dat wel doet, zal uw document mogelijk worden vernietigd.
Let op! Als u niet binnen 3 maanden een van de genoemde verklaringen opstuurt, kan dat leiden tot intrekking van uw Nederlandse nationaliteit.
Stukken die u overlegt dienen te zijn opgesteld in het Nederlands, Frans, Engels of Duits, of moeten anders vertaald zijn door een beedigd vertaler.
Een verklaring dient te zijn afgegeven door de ambassade/het consulaat of een daartoe bevoegde overheidsinstantie in het betreffende land.
Legalisatie buitenlandse documenten
Buitenlandse documenten moeten voorzien zijn van legalisatie of een apostille, afhankelijk van het land dat het stuk afgeeft, tenzij aansluiting bij een legalisatieverdrag anders bepaalt. Buitenlandse documenten zijn namelijk niet zomaar geldig in Nederland. Door legalisatie of een apostille krijgt het document rechtskracht in Nederland.
U kunt bij de ambassade/het consulaat of de afdeling burgerzaken van de gemeente vragen of legalisatie of een apostille nodig is. Ook kunt u hierover informatie vinden op internet: www.minbuza.nl.
