I'm looking for a house-cleaner not because my house is a warzone, but because I'm too busy to mop and clean and slowly the place begins to get dusty and ugly.
There are tons of people online who offer their services. Does anyone have any pointers to help me find a reliable person? What should I expect to pay?
Any ideas/thoughts/advice would be much appreciatied.

Not sure if this is in all areas, but if you have the health insurance Unive, they do have a program where you can hire a house-cleaner through them for relatively cheap (I think it's 15 euro an hour?). We subscribed to the service 2 years ago for the same reason and it's been fantastic. It allows us much more time in our busy schedule.
