I work in the Netherlands. I would like to rent a flat in Antwerp because my town in Netherlands is too small and I want to spend weekends in a bigger city and Antwerp is closest. I am quite busy and working late so most weekdays will remain in the Netherlands.
Is it possible to rent a flat in Belgium as a second residence ( i.e. not my main residence)? Do I need to register with town hall? Is there any special policy regarding people who live in neighbouring countries but want to also keep some non-permanent residence in Belgium?
