I genuinely think people who become depressed and start hating a country and its citizens and making insulting remarks about them should either seek help or leave the country.

I actually think you are quite vicious for posting this because......................................
Erm this comment ..........'Exactly the reason why I never bothered properly with this stupid language, Dutch language is for masochists or morons."
WAS NOT made by me betsie - it was made by someone in the forum. Get your facts right and also - do you think its approprite now to label me with 'Depression' - oh mental health expert that you are? oh and to pull up older forums i have discussed?
Hmm nice argument you provide.

You are about to undergo what is one of the most profound and fulfilling things in a woman's life.

Probably the obsession about frisheid. Don't know, yes I think it is typically Dutch. Especially the older generation. You make it sound like a crime.
Now I have also a question: Can you explain this. Is this a Brit cultie secret?
Maybe that is the reason you people get a cold so easily.

Where have you heard that line before? LOL!
Sorry - I'd better get my coat.
Well, a new baby beats hell out of whining about "filthy little Dutchies" and their bed linen any day! (and provides enough dirty washing of your own to get outraged about). kelso1975 (Mar 15 2011, 03:09 PM) said: > original post
Hmm. I wish when assessing clients I had your ability to diagnose depression and such like disorders through a forum - took me 8 years of training and the understanding and use of of specific psychological tools for analysis to arrive at such a diagnosis. WOW Id be a millionairess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

May be the reason why they don't tend to wash their hands properly is because the water is sooo cold, especially in winter.

I don't believe for one moment that pepe C is anti English/British, just that for every negative comment about the Dutch, it can be easily equalled with something negative about the English/British.

I liked it before the last round of ethnic cleansing.

Many moons ago i hitch-hiked thru Yugoslavia and ended up in a bar full of factory workers all drinking some local hooch at 6am. I only popped in for a coffee!
Brilliant!

And this is also important - how dirty is wee-wee ?
I heard it could actually be used as anti-septic.

Urine is sterile. Poo isn't.

Actually I agree with the Poster. Rolling up a duvet and shoving it out of a window onto the dirty outside wall doesn't make sense.

And I hope he never does. He might hate my 'race', but most of the time I find them irritating too, from first hand experience and not from stereotypes.
Kelso I mean you no harm, and I wish you all the luck in the world with your forthcoming BIG event (wow - twins!) but hormones aside, pepe does a great deal of good here. He has helped many people with good, practical, insider advice, in some of those 1500+ posts he's made - he is our longest serving (most patient?) Dutchie. I had high hopes for zeeeend, but he didn't last the course.
He's allowed to bring his gripes here too. But I swear I'll chase him round the room with a rolling pin if he mutters something about 'bloody Brits' in my presenceWe are all unique. And we all have bad days.

I just want him to at least VISIT an English-speaking country one day. Judging everything by what he sees on TV or the press just isn't fair or necessarily accurate...
