I've always been reporting individual spam posts & not the whole thread... anyway, if no one bothers to remove it then I'll not bother reporting it.

I , unfortunately for you Canucky, am a collector of European cinema and cant remember when I last watched a commercial piece other than childrens movies. There is NO relevant Dutch cinema. Of course there are great things produced in the NL, like well, all of Jos Sterling's work and things like Antonia's line, but you cant say its a lot, like Scandinavian, Italian and French cinema, that despite language/cultural barriers are well recognized by not only lovers of the art but average public as well. Not to mention volume of production, etc. So yes there is very good Dutch cinema, but not a lot of it. as a collector I struggle to name more than 3 or 4 Dutch films I have watched, I imagine average Joe can name but one. I guess the key word in my post was RELEVANT. Unfortunately, the NL has not produced any Bachs, Mozarts, Goethes, Hugos, Sheaksperes, Zolas, nor any Bergmans and Felinnis. That was the whole point.
