Portable career!
This workshop is meant for expat women who want to:
Understand what career means to them
Make the first step which activities/work they want to do
Find out what first steps are necessary to pursue their 'new' portable career
Did you have to stop temporarily your career to follow the one of your husband? In a new country it can be difficult to get the same type of work you used to have back home. Imagine you have a career that travels with you wherever you are! Seems difficult, but not impossible. First, it is important to realize what does career mean to you. What is important for you about working? Is it financial security and independence, is it recognition, social contacts, teamwork, leadership, intellectual aspects or even something else? Once you know it , you can take the next steps to discover what your 'portable' career could be. And maybe you can discover that there are other activities that give you the same fulfillment as your 'old' work.
