Every year in summer, film fans converge on Paris' Parc de la Villette for its Open-Air Cinema. Pack a picnic, bask in balmy temperatures and watch movies with the locals - some are dubbed or subtitled, some "VO" (original language).
The Parc de la Villette was built as an urban renewal project for one of Paris' more destitute areas, and the modern architecture of its buildings and layout make it an ideal place to relax and watch a couple of your favourite films.
For the comfiest seats in the house, hire a deck-chair. Bon film!
